Trusted support in
every child's pocket

India has 10 million teachers and 248 million students. Every day, children turn to teachers with problems that have nothing to do with the curriculum. This infrastructure equips those teachers — and gives every child a safe, anonymous way to reach them.

What's happening?
Teachers discover the certification on DIKSHA — the app they already use. No new system, no new behaviour required.
Training can be completed on DIKSHA or any approved platform. The badge goes to DigiLocker regardless.
* "Saathi" is a placeholder name used for this demo. The Ministry of Education would determine the actual name of the programme.
What's happening?
The student creates a profile with their real details. This is encrypted and stored by the Ministry of Education — no teacher or app ever sees it. From this, an anonymous alias is generated. That alias is the only identity the student carries in every conversation.
Student
Pre-filled for demo. Click "Create anonymous profile", choose a teacher, send a message — then use the button at the bottom to continue.
Create your profile
Your real details are encrypted and stored securely by the Ministry of Education. No teacher will ever see them.
What's happening?
Teachers use the DIKSHA app — or any interoperable app — to receive and respond to anonymous student conversations. They see only an alias, and their job is to listen, not investigate.
Teacher
Reply to the student as the teacher. When ready, click the SOS flag button in the chat to escalate.

What's happening?
Manodarpan volunteers review flagged SOS conversations. Two independent confirmations are required before any identity is unlocked — no single person can unmask a child.

What's happening?
Identity is only ever revealed after two reviewers independently confirm it is warranted. No longitudinal record of a child's mental health is ever formed — all data is purged every two years. The unmasked details are shared with emergency services for further action.
Identity reveal
Click Unmask to see the two-reviewer permission check and the staged identity reveal.
